SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Thank you for visiting and purchasing from Scheepsstudio (Scheepsklokkenwinkel.nl, Shipsclockshop.com, Scheepsservieswinkel.nl). Below, you will find the terms that govern our shipping policy.

Processing Time

  • All orders placed before 2:00 PM are processed within 2-3 business days.
  • We process the order immediately upon receiving your payment via Ideal, PayPal, or bank transfer to our account. If in stock, products are typically presented to you within 3 business days by one of the carriers we work with: DHL, PostNL, DPD, Fedex, or UPS.
  • If not immediately available, the delivery time may vary. We will always inform you of the expected delivery time. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or phone.
  • When demand for an item is high, the product may temporarily be out of stock, resulting in a "backorder."
  • We will inform you of this in a timely manner. In this case, you have the option to cancel the order within 14 days, and we will refund the full order amount.
  • Some brands/products are manually assembled upon order.
  • You will be informed of this, along with the expected delivery time, usually occurring 7-14 days after the payment.
  • Scheepsstudio will always strive to ship your products from the nearest possible point, avoiding unnecessary global transit. We select products that are durable, sturdy, and reasonably resistant to transportation and wear and tear.
  • In the case of urgent delivery, please inform us, and we will discuss the earliest possible delivery time and any additional costs associated.

Shipping/carriers 

  • Orders are generally not delivered on weekends (except for home addresses) or holidays.
  • If we experience a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days.
  • Please allow extra days in transit for delivery.
  • Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
  • The products you order will be delivered to the address you provided by the carrier. The carrier's delivery times apply in this case. This means that in most cases, orders are delivered during the day.
  • If you are not at home/at the provided address, you will find a form in the mailbox with the nearest pickup point where the package can be collected. Alternatively, the carrier will indicate if it will be attempted for delivery a second time at the address you provided.

Shipment confirmation & order tacking
You will receive a shipment confirmation via email once your order is shipped, including your tracking number(s). The tracking number will become active within 24 hours.

Customs, duties and taxes
Scheepsstudio is not responsible for any customs fees and taxes applied to your order unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). Please retain all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Delivery Costs up to 20 Kilograms

    • The cost of shipping within the Netherlands is 7.95 euros.
    • The cost for shipping outside the Netherlands, but within Europe is 15,- euros.
    • The cost for shipping outside Europe is 25,- euros. >All prices mentioned on this website include 21% VAT.
    • For outside the Eu a 0% VAT rate applies, however, you must take care of the import tax yourself.
